LEAD Wales Programme

Are you the owner-manager of a business or social enterprise with real growth potential, based in the Wales convergence area? Are you an employer and have you been in business for more than two years? Do you employ more than four members of staff? On offer is £10K worth of invaluable leadership and management training to give you the tools to increase the growth and turnover of your business. And it’s free of charge. Interested?

LEAD Wales is designed to meet the specific needs of the owner-managers of small/medium sized businesses or social enterprises who have traded for more than two years and employ at least 4 members of staff. Each 10-month study/work programme comprises a group of up to twenty four owner-managers, and throughout the programme, each participant is supported by a mix of expertise from academics, experienced mentors and external coaching professionals. No formal qualifications are required, only an enthusiasm and commitment to learn and complete the programme.  

24 local business owners have joined Cohort 1 of the LEAD programme at Bangor and are  thoroughly enjoying the experience.  Whilst on the programme the delegates are given the opportunity to listen to a variety of Guest Speakers who are experienced in Business and Leadership fields.  The delegates are also given the opportunity to attend regular Action Learning sets to discuss real business issues with their peers.  Learning and Reflection sessions are held regularly and the delegates are also given the opportunity to Shadow and Exchange with another business owner from the group.   Why not give the LEAD Team a call to learn more about the programme and to apply for a place on one of our future Cohorts?
